South Korea has launched its second offshore wind auction of 2026 for 2.2GW, taking total annual auction volume to nearly 4GW, GWEC said. The tender offers 1.7GW fixed-bottom — 1.4GW general track and 300MW public-led — plus 500MW floating wind. Price caps are KRW 168,937/MWh fixed-bottom land interconnection and KRW 168,913/MWh Jeju, and KRW 174,003/MWh floating land and KRW 173,979/MWh Jeju, down 1.
