South Korea awarded nearly 700MW capacity to four fixed-bottom offshore wind projects, all from public-led consortiums, in its latest auction. No private-led projects won from the 750MW allocation. Winning projects include Korea Offshore Wind Power’s 400MW Southwest 2 and Jeju Energy’s 105MW Handong-Pyeongdae.
