Gujarat-based Solex Energy has started commercial production at its 2.2 GW solar module facility in Surat as of November 24, 2025. The company plans to upgrade from TOPCon to TOPCon Plus back-contact technology, supported by Germany’s ISC Konstanz for advanced solar cell R&D. Aligning with the upcoming ALCM regime, Solex is focusing on cell manufacturing over modules to meet domestic content requirements by July 2026.
