The Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) issued an RfS on June 12, 2025, seeking bids for 2,000 MW ISTS-connected Solar PV Projects integrated with 1,000 MW/4,000 MWh Energy Storage Systems (ESS) on a Build-Own-Operate basis. The projects will undergo tariff-based competitive bidding, enhancing renewable capacity and firm power supply.
