SECI has announced the results of its RfP for selecting a contractor for the Balance of System (AC Package) and five years of comprehensive Operation & Maintenance for a 600 MW/1200 MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project at Nandyal, Andhra Pradesh. The contract has been awarded to InSolare Energy Limited, in consortium with SCC Infrastructure Private Limited, with a winning bid value of ₹356.
