Schroders Greencoat Acquires $610 million Stake in Offshore Wind Farm

Schroders Greencoat has acquired a 24.5% stake in the West of Duddon Sands Offshore Wind farm from Ørsted for £456.1 million ($610 million). Located 14 km off the U.K.’s west coast, the 389 MW Wind farm has operated since 2014. Ørsted retains 25.5% ownership and will continue operations. The deal supports Ørsted’s capital recycling strategy to fund new Offshore Wind Projects.
