Rosatom Renewable Energy, a unit of Russia's Rosatom, has started building a 300 MW Onshore Wind Project in Daghestan. The project, split into two phases, will feature 120 turbines and generate 879 GWh annually. Phase one (152.5 MW) is set for 2025, with phase two (147.5 MW) expected by 2026. Wind power currently accounts for less than 1% of Russia's capacity.
