The Rajasthan Electricity Regulatory Commission (RERC) has approved tariffs for a 500 MW/2000 MWh standalone Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project proposed by Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited (RVUNL). The project will be developed under a Build-Own-Operate model with support from the Government of India’s Viability Gap Funding scheme.
