Japanese renewable developer Renova announced that recently it has secured 3 project of energy storage with the combined capacity 215 MW BESS capacity. R2 energy storage facility GK & R2 has signed the financial agreement with financial institution on 28 February. Under the memorandum of understanding (MoU) regarding the transfer of equity interests signed with two of the partners in R2 Energy, Renova has the right to purchase additional equity interests in the special purpose company and boost its stake to 87%.
