A 500 MW renewable energy round-the-clock (RE-RTC) project has been awarded to NTPC Renewable Energy Ltd (NTPCREL). A joint venture (JV) corporation between the Ministry of Railways and RITES Ltd., REMCL, has awarded the assignment. A competitive bidding process for a total of 900 MW RE RTC on offer resulted in the capacity being selected.
