Reliance Industries secured a bid for an additional 10 GWh of Battery manufacturing capacity under India's PLI scheme, earning Rs 3,620 crore in incentives. This is in addition to the 5 GWh previously awarded. The PLI scheme aims for a total 50 GWh capacity. Other companies also bid, with Reliance's new plant set to begin production next year.
