Government has slapped Reliance group with the penalty as they missed the deadline to set up 10GWh Battery Cell manufacturing plant. The company received the letter stating levying Liquidated Damages of the rate of 0.1% of the performance security of 50 crores from each day of delay from 1 January,2025.
