Rajkot to Host Involt Energy's 1.78 GW Solar Facility

Gujarat-based Involt Energy will enter Solar Cell manufacturing with a fully automatic 1.78 GW plant in Rajkot, producing N-type TOPCon Solar Cells. The move addresses the shortage of DCR panels under schemes like PM Surya Ghar and PM Kusum Yojana. With ALMM norms expanding by 2026, Involt aims to localize production, Reduce Imports, and support India’s Clean Energy goals.
