Juniper Green Energy has fully commissioned its 100 MWh merchant Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) at Bikaner, Rajasthan, after trial operations and NRLDC approval. This first operational merchant BESS for the company is among India’s largest, generating revenue through peak power arbitrage, grid balancing, and ancillary markets.
