Rajasthan will consume 500 MW from SJVN’s 1,000 MW Bikaner solar project, marking a shift toward domestic renewable energy utilization. The remaining 500 MW is allocated to Jammu & Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh. Developed at ₹5,492 crore with a competitive Rs 2.57/unit tariff and VGF support, the project reflects policy changes prioritizing local consumption.
