Hyderabad-based RAC Energy opens a new battery production facility, targeting 80,000 EVs by 2025. The 50 MWh plant can make 30,000 batteries annually, aiding their goal of 250,000 swappable batteries. They obtained AIS-156 Phase 2 certification, becoming the first swappable company to do so. They are plans to scale up operations, meeting rising global demand and expanding their market presence.
