POWERCHINA is expanding in Egypt with over 1.8 GW wind portfolio and entering battery storage manufacturing. Its wind portfolio includes 500 MW Amunet Gulf of Suez project, already operational, plus 1.1 GW Gulf of Suez and 202.5 MW Ras Ghareb projects under construction. Amunet overcame harsh desert conditions and won 2025 RoSPA Safety Award.
