Power Grid has announced a bond issuance plan to raise ₹5,000 cr through private placement, approved by its Board of Directors on October 22, 2024. The issue includes a base size of ₹1,000 cr with a green shoe option of ₹4,000 cr. The unsecured, non-convertible bonds will mature in 10 years, with annual interest payments.
