Plug Power has shipped a 1 MW GenEco PEM electrolyzer to HWR Hydrogen’s Invercargill refueling station in New Zealand. The system will produce hydrogen for HWR’s dual-fuel hydrogen-diesel heavy truck fleet and support broader hydrogen adoption across Southland and the South Island. The deployment expands Plug’s hydrogen footprint across New Zealand and Australia, complementing existing projects with Hiringa Energy and Orica.
