Philip Wind Partners, a subsidiary of Invenergy, seeks South Dakota regulators' approval to build a $750 million wind farm in Haakon County. The project would cover 70,000 acres of private land about 15 miles north of Philip and 85 miles east of Rapid City. It aims to generate up to 300 megawatts, powering hundreds of thousands of homes.
