Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) has secured a ₹1,618.5 crore interstate transmission project in Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh, aimed at supporting renewable energy supply for upcoming green hydrogen and green ammonia projects. The project includes a 765/400 kV GIS substation, STATCOM system, and transmission lines to ensure stable renewable power delivery.
