A 6,000 MW green power transmission corridor is being developed to supply clean electricity from Gujarat’s Khavda renewable energy park to Nagpur via a 1,200-km HVDC line. The ₹24,819 crore project, jointly developed by Power Grid Corporation of India Limited, Hitachi Energy, and Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited, is targeted for completion by 2029.
