State-owned PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy (PGE) plans a small-scale green hydrogen pilot in Ulubelu, Lampung, by late 2026. The non-commercial project, costing about US$3 million, will produce 80–100 kg of hydrogen daily using Anion Exchange Membrane (AEM) electrolyzers. Integrated into Pertamina’s energy ecosystem, the hydrogen could serve vehicles, industry, and fuel cells.
