Peak Energy is developing a $71 million grid-scale sodium-ion battery manufacturing facility in Sacramento, California, with an annual production capacity of 4 GWh. The 183,000-square-foot factory, expected to begin shipments in Q1 2027, will be the first dedicated US facility for large-scale sodium-ion energy storage systems.
