Morocco's ONEE has launched the 270 MW Jbel Lahdid wind farm in Essaouira, increasing the nation's Renewable Energy capacity to 5,440 MW. The MAD 3.25 billion project, developed by Nareva Holding and Enel Green Power, includes 54 turbines, generating 952 GWh annually—enough to power a city of 1.2 million.
