Hyderabad-based Olectra Greentech secured a ₹427 crore order from Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) to supply and maintain 297 non-air-conditioned electric buses. The buses will be delivered within 11 months. The Himachal Pradesh government is promoting Electric Vehicle (EV) adoption, with plans to expand EV Charging Stations, procure 500 e-buses, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions from the transport sector.
