Ocean Winds has submitted its planning application for Onshore Works (substation and cables) for the 2GW Caledonia Offshore Wind Project in Scotland. Aberdeenshire Council has begun public consultation. The application follows the completion of the Environmental Impact Assessment. The project will double Offshore Wind Generation in the Moray Firth and contribute to the UK’s 2030 clean power goals.
