NTPC Ltd. is embarking on a comprehensive examination of the feasibility of a 130MW floating solar power project situated on Dumbur Lake in Gomati, Tripura. In collaboration with TREDA, NTPC has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to conduct the feasibility study for floating solar. At Ramangundam in Telangana, NTPC is actively running a floating solar power plant that produces 100MW.
