The 50 MW Sampoor Solar Project in Trincomalee, Sri Lanka, developed by Trincomalee Power Company Limited (a JV between NTPC Limited and Ceylon Electricity Board), has finalized a tariff of 5.97 US cents per unit. This development, confirmed by Sri Lankan President Anura Kumara Dissanayake, enhances Sri Lanka’s renewable energy capacity, aligning with the nation's green energy goals and supporting NTPC’s global expansion in sustainable energy markets.
