North Macedonia Approves 4.42 GW Renewable Projects in 2026

North Macedonia has approved over 4.42 GW of new renewable energy capacity for 2026, representing an estimated investment of €3.73 billion under its Annual Plan for Energy Facilities. The plan includes 59 solar PV plants (3.01 GW), 7 wind projects (908 MW), a 495 MW cogeneration gas plant, and 96 storage facilities totaling 2.
