NHPC, Tripura to Invest Rs 100 Crore to Revive Dumboor Hydro Project

NHPC and Tripura government to invest ₹100 crore to restore Dumboor hydroelectric project in Gomati district, state's only hydro plant damaged in 2024 floods. Technical assessment completed, work to begin by Dec 2026. Power minister Ratan Lal Nath announced at ground-breaking ceremony. Project aims to raise output to 10-11 MW, restoring original 15 MW capacity across three units.
