In a new innovation, Mercedes-Benz is testing its “solar paint”, a PV coating designed for vehicle power generation. The paint will allow 94% solar energy to penetrate, at a weight of 50 grams m2 and will have 20% efficiency. Mercedes says that they don’t use any rare elements or silicon and is recyclable.
