Nel ASA has secured a $7 million contract for a delayed 5 MW green hydrogen project in Washington, USA, after replacing previous supplier Cummins Inc. The project, located at the 840 MW Wells Hydroelectric facility operated by Douglas County PUD, will use PEM electrolysers to convert excess hydropower into hydrogen for grid balancing and refuelling applications.
