Morrow Batteries Opens Europe’s First Gigawatt-Scale Factory

Morrow Batteries ASA has inaugurated a new Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) Battery factory in Arendal, Norway, with a 1 GWh annual capacity. As Europe's first gigawatt-scale LFP facility, it aims to produce up to three million cells yearly and employ around 150 people. Test production has begun, with commercial output expected by year-end.
