The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) has introduced a Model Service Agreement for Electrolyser as a Service (EAAS) under the National Green Hydrogen Mission to accelerate green hydrogen adoption in India. The standardized framework follows a Build-Own-Operate (BOO) model, enabling developers to own and operate electrolyser plants while industries purchase hydrogen without heavy upfront investments.
