Ministry of New and Renewable Energy informed Parliament that no funds have been disbursed under the ₹24,000 crore PLI scheme for solar manufacturers as of February 2026, since payouts occur one year after project commissioning. Despite awarding significant manufacturing capacity, most projects have not completed the required period.
