The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) clarified its Office Memorandum on the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM) for solar PV cells and modules. Government projects under Net Metering, Behind-the-Meter, and Open Access, with bid submissions on or before 31 August 2025, are exempt from using ALMM List-II cells but must use List-I modules.
