The Ministry of Heavy Industries has received 20 bids under its ₹7,280 crore scheme to promote domestic manufacturing of sintered NdFeB rare earth permanent magnets. Companies including Coal India, Larsen & Toubro, ReNew, Attero Recycling and Prozeal Green Energy are among the participants. The scheme aims to establish 6,000 MTPA integrated REPM manufacturing capacity through five selected beneficiaries, each eligible for up to 1,200 MTPA.
