Mercedes-Benz made history by opening the first in-house EV Battery recycling plant in Europe. With a 96 % recovery rate—where the remaining 4 % is lost due to the Electrolyte liquid—the plant handles every stage of the Battery's lifecycle. The new plant operates entirely on 100 % GE, with its 6,800m^2 roof fitted with a photovoltaic system generating over 350 KW.
