Mayor Marina Javellana-Yao supports a proposed 150 MW Wind Energy project in Bago City by Thailand’s Sermsang Power Corp. The project includes 23 wind turbines and aims to start operations by the end of 2026, with a 20-year lifespan. It is expected to create at least 100 local jobs initially. The city promotes investment and job creation through investor-friendly policies and a new Investment and Incentive Code to streamline processes.
