Masdar, Citaglobal Berhad and TIZA Global Sdn Bhd have started construction of the 200 MW Chereh Dam Floating Solar PV Project in Pahang, Malaysia, one of Southeast Asia's largest floating solar projects. Developed via Chereh Solar Sdn Bhd, it is Masdar's first project in Malaysia. Financial close was achieved Oct 27 with about MYR 580 million ($143 million) from three international lenders.
