Maruti Suzuki has officially launched the e-Vitara battery electric SUV in India, offering competitive pricing from ₹10.99 lakh under a Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) model and full ownership options up to ~₹20 lakh, with ARAI-rated ranges up to ~543 km across two battery configurations. The introduction, supported by complementary home charger installation and a battery rental scheme, marks Maruti Suzuki’s first major entry into the EV market.
