Ministry of Science, Technology and innovation (MOSTI) aims to produce 2 million tons of Hydrogen annually and targets to scale it up to 16 million per annum by 2050 under Economy and Technology Roadmap (HETR). This move will support decarbonization of key sectors of economy which heavily rely upon fossil fuel based Grey Hydrogen and will transition towards Green Hydrogen in the long term.
