bp has agreed to sell its entire US onshore wind business (1.7 GW capacity) to LS Power as part of its $4 billion divestment strategy for 2025. The deal includes 10 wind farms in seven states, supplying over 15 off-takers, and will see all bp Wind Energy employees transfer to LS Power. The assets will be integrated into Clearlight Energy, raising its capacity to 4.
