Longi Sets World Record with 34.85% Solar Efficiency

Chinese Solar Module manufacturer Longi has achieved a world record with a power conversion efficiency of 34.85% for a two-terminal tandem perovskite Solar Cell, certified by the U.S. Department of Energy's NREL. This surpasses their previous record of 34.6%. The cell uses a bilayer passivation strategy with lithium fluoride and ethylenediammonium diiodide molecules, improving electron transport and charge extraction.
