Lomarlabs, the innovation arm of Lomar Shipping, based in London, has partnered with Newlight to introduce hybrid hydrogen-diesel engine retrofits aimed at cutting greenhouse gas emissions and fuel consumption in the shipping industry. Their retrofitting technology enables diesel engines to run on a hydrogen-diesel mix, reducing fuel use by an average of 20% and achieving up to 30% savings in workshop trials.
