Lithuania’s EU-backed energy storage support scheme will fund up to 4,000MWh of battery storage, covering about 15% of €840 million investments. Initially allocated €102 million, it was extended by €37 million due to high demand. Projects total 1,700MW power rating, enhancing grid resilience, flexibility, and price stability.
