LG Energy Solution has signed a $1.4 billion battery supply deal with Mercedes-Benz, marking their fourth major contract in two years. Running from March 2028 to June 2035, the agreement covers deliveries to North America and Europe and represents around eight percent of LG’s 2024 revenue. Focused on mid- to entry-tier EV models, the deal supports Mercedes-Benz’s global electrification plans.
