LG Energy Solution gets 5yr deal to supply EV batteries

LGES will provide Rivian with its advanced 4695 cylindrical batteries, total 67 GW hrs. The deal with Rivian follows Korean company's similar battery-supply contracts with global carmakers . It's operating profit decreased 3.2% on-year to 246 bn won ,while sales rose 6.1% to 3.8 trillion won. This large scale order from Rivian for 4695 batteries marks a key mile stone for LG Energy Solution.
