Researchers in Korea have developed a next-generation proton exchange membrane (PEM) using sulfonated poly (arylene ether sulfone) (SPAES) to significantly improve electrochemical hydrogen storage. This new membrane reduces toluene crossover by 60%, enhances hydrogenation efficiency to 72.
